Breeding
Pedigree
It is really important to know as much about where your dog has come from as possible. Any dog should have a pedigree for you to see, that shows generations of predeceasing dogs, together with their working dog accomplishments. It is extremely unwise to take a dog into your home without some idea of its lineage and bloodline.
Here at Ambassador Protection Dogs, we breed and train our dogs, so we can provide you with the dog’s history from birth. We keep an extensive video and photo gallery, as well as information about the dog’s parents, upbringing and experience.
Early Life
All of our dogs have photographic and video evidence of their early life. This is really important, so you can see exactly what your dog has experienced and is able to do. We firmly believe that great training starts early, but it is not forced, and at a level according to the dog’s age. All our puppies are brought up to be confident, sociable and happy, so that they are able to adapt to any environment as they grow.
Health
Our dogs are health checked and have up-to-date vaccinations and vet checkups. This is vital when choosing a dog. All of our puppies come from the finest bloodlines with accomplished parents, who have recognised titles and characteristics, so have the best start when it comes to health and wellbeing. We have some of the finest breeding from the best dogs in Europe, substantiated by the pedigrees we have.
Socialisation and temperament
Our puppies are raised by foster carers. This enables the puppies to experience what it is like to live within a family environment. Often people assume that protection dogs live in a kennel outside and cannot mix well with kids or other animals. This is not the case. Our dogs can live in a kennel or within the home; we have dogs that will suit the environment that you choose. Our puppies are socialised in different situations and environments so that you can be sure they know how to behave.
You do not want a fearful or anxious dog, as this can make them unpredictable. All of our dogs are well-balanced and have a stable temperament, because they have been socialised and trained from an early age. They are confident and easy-going, and will be easy for you to handle and a joy to live with.
